Super Sock Monsters began as a class project undertaken by my wife, Karyn. She makes custom superhero-themed sock monsters and sells them for donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I write individual stories for each monster created, and post them on the SSM website in the Story section. Since September, we've raised over $1,000 and counting for research into children's cancer!
I've been involved in roleplaying games since 2004, as both a GM and player. When I'm a player, I love to create interesting characters from the fringes of society who are trying to find their place in the world. I've used D&D 3.5, D20 Modern, D&D 4th Edition, Pathfinder, as well as a few miscellaneous BESM tri-stat games.
NaNoTeMo started as a riff on National Novel Writing Month, wherein I split writing duties with some of my friends. Though the results aren't yet available for viewing, look for more on this in the future.
